Kyra Frosini

Kyra-Frosini (1773–1801) was the wife of a merchant from Ioannina who was professionally active in Venice and the mother of two children, Vassilis and Alexandra. By decision of Ali Pasha, she paid with her own life for her beauty and love: together with 17 other young women, she was drowned in the Lake of Ioannina.
